Tattoo Removal

Times change, your tastes change, and your life changes. You change the style of clothing you wear; you change your hairstyle – so why shouldn’t you be able to eliminate unwanted tattoos? Tattoo removal is an advanced treatment designed to remove unwanted tattoos. Tattoo removal works by the laser’s high energy light breaking up the tattoo ink into tiny particles that are later absorbed by the skin and removed from the body through our lymphatic system.

What to expect during your tattoo removal treatment?

Before your treatment, a numbing cream is applied to the tattoo. During the treatment, the laser passes over the tattoo causing a rubber band snapping sensation on the treated area. This is a natural reaction that occurs with the heat from the laser. Along with numbing cream, we keep an air chiller focused on the area to help decrease the heat built up in the skin. After treatment, the skin will retain heat so we advise that you keep the ice we provide to you on the treated area for 20 minutes of each hour for the remainder of your treatment day.
Recovery and Results for tattoo removal

After your tattoo removal treatment, there will be downtime where the treated area is tender and begins to crust over, itching and inflammation can occur. Between treatments, the tattoo will begin to fade gradually. This treatment takes a series of treatments due to the variations of colors of ink and if the tattoo was done professionally or homemade tattoo.
